New classroom codec course

Registration is now open for the new course on codecs, formats and HD and 4K workflows in person. We have prepared a 16-hour classroom course on December 21 and 22 where you will learn the current scenario of digital video and film.

As professionals in the audiovisual world it is essential to have control and mastery of these aspects that are present throughout the work chain. Knowing the different formats with which you can shoot and subsequently work for a more appropriate workflow is essential when facing video and digital film productions.

Already with the birth of HD it was a revolution in the way of working, but now with 4K or the increasingly strong presence of HDR new codecs, formats and media are appearing and it is essential to be up to date and know them all. Having a good foundation on which the video signal is based, such as compression, resolution, new standards that are appearing, is essential to get the maximum potential out of your final product.

Knowing how to choose the right format or codec also makes our workflows more optimal in time and cost, as a bad decision can negatively affect the entire job.

To tell us the present and future scenario towards which the audiovisual industry is heading, we have 2 great professionals such as Luis Ochoa and Elena Humanes. Luis Ochoa is a DI colorist and designer of 4K HDR workflows, always aware of the latest developments in the industry and an expert in the HDR world. His experience as a film editor, director of photography and now colorist will bring a global vision of the whole workflow thanks to his more technical, theoretical and creative knowledge.

Elena Humanes, colorist at Sala Contraluz with extensive experience in TV series productions , feature films, documentaries and much more, will bring her experience and knowledge of the codecs and formats she has had to deal with in different productions.

Two professionals who speak from real life experience and who also have a long curriculum in the field of audiovisual training.
