New Cooke S7/i and Panchro/i Classic Lenses

Cooke has announced new lenses with different focal lengths of its S7 / i Full Frame Plus and Panchro / i Classic lines that, according to the company, will debut between now and the end of the year.

Set for demonstration at NAB 2018 will be the new Panchro / i Classic 135mm lens, the first in a series of new 2018 lenses that will also bring 21mm, 27mm and 65mm Macro lenses to the lineup. Designed to emulate the look of the original Speed Panchro lens, the line currently includes lenses from:

• 18 mm
• 25 mm
• 32 mm
• 40 mm
• 50 mm
• 75 mm
• 100 mm
• 152 mm.

Also coming this year are the S7 / i lenses from:

• 16 mm
• 21 mm
• 27 mm
• 65 mm

These are in addition to the already available 18mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 135mm versions. The S7i lens line is specifically designed with a 46.31 mm diameter to cover the entire sensor area of the Red Weapon 8K, Sony Venice and ARRI Alexa LF.
