New dailies system “FLEXXITY+1o1”.

Digital Film Technology (DFT), a provider of film and video post-production solutions; and 1o1Media, a developer of cloud-based platforms; have introduced a new dailies solution for both on-set and post-production.

This novelty is called “FLEXXITY+1o1”, a software optimized for the creation of dailies and their distribution on a secure line. It has been created with the intention of revolutionizing working methods, saving time and money in production and post-production.

FLEXXITY Dailies is a system that can be used on Mac or Linux workstations. It provides native support for formats such as ProRes, Quicktime, MXF, DPX, ARRIRAW or R3D. It is also possible to work with stereoscopic 3D materials or import LUTs.

It includes image analysis tools (waveform, vectorscope) and users can perform a lot of processes without waiting to get to the post-production rooms, such as audio synchronization, color correction, backups, encoding and distribution. You can start editing in a timeline or even rescale the image.

The encoding options support multiple formats, including those necessary for the creation of a DCP (Digital Cinema Package).

The 1o1 platform allows dailies that have been prepared, even if color corrections have already been made, to be securely shared and reviewed online. 1o1 is a content management and distribution system based on a “private cloud”. It supports dailies viewing, VFX and includes digital rights management through which watermarks or encryption can be added.

Thanks to a new shaping function, using the playlists provided by 1o1, consolidated dailies are automatically generated. In addition, there are also a number of tools that allow annotations to be made, so that users can maintain communication. Exports can be made, via XML, based on the clips themselves or their timecodes.

All annotations are stored in a database, although 1o1 also works directly with e-mail.

“FLEXXITY+1o1” is priced at 1.998€ and includes the software license and 100 hours of online distribution of 1o1Media.
