Advanced Data Wangler and DIT course

Many of you have asked us about this course for Data Wangler and Advanced DIT classroom course and we can now confirm a new date. The course will last 16 hours on December 14 and 15.

As a teacher we have Rafa Roche, a Director of Photography expert in digital cinema and one of the pioneers of Spain in this sector. In his curriculum he has 25 years of experience in which he has worked in feature films, documentaries, TV series, advertising, etc… as Director of Photography and DIT. Since the birth of digital cinema he has not stopped working so he has a lot to teach through first-hand experiences.

Digital cinema is advancing and evolving at a dizzying pace and with it the new workflows. During this course we will explain all the tasks that a Data Wangler and a DIT have to perform during a shoot such as downloading cards, color grading on set, signal distribution configuration on set, what the DIT has to touch in the camera and the relationship with the director of photography and postproduction department among other tasks.

The course has a theoretical part where basic concepts are reviewed but most of the time will be practical so that students can learn how to handle the camera menus, set up the DIT station and simulate some live color correction.

A unique opportunity to have professional equipment that we can find in any shooting, handle them and learn from the extensive experience of one of the great experts in digital cinema as Rafa Roche.

Take advantage of the discount for early booking and do not run out of places, which are limited. You don’t need to have previous experience, just a basic knowledge of cinematography.
