New November NVIDIA Studio driver available

NVIDIA has released a new Studio driver that includes eight new updates for GPU-accelerated applications, including the just-released DaVinci Resolve 17. The company says this new update enables and ensures the best performance when creating content and support for these applications.

NVIDIA has two types of drivers, one more focused on gamers and the other on digital content creation. For this second group it is recommended to use the NVIDIA Studio Drivers, which will improve workflows when editing videos, 3D animations, graphics, photography or live broadcasting.

To meet the new demands of DaVinci Resolve 17 with the DaVinci Neural Engine, the graphics card must be up to the task of supporting core acceleration. New features such as reframe or magic mask, which pull on the RTX, are made smoother with this new NVIDIA update.

It has been updated for eight applications in total, including Keyshot 10, Notch, BorisFX Continuum 2021 and Mocha Pro 2021, Red Giant Trapcode Suite 16 and Magic Bullet Suite 14, and Topaz Video Enhance AI, in addition to the aforementioned DaVinci Resolve 17. For Mocha pro, which now includes a new unique subplanar tracking engine used for tracking or rotoscoping, it also works by GPU acceleration, so NVIDIA Drivers would be a good choice to meet the demands of the programs. Magic Buller Colorist V is another application that benefits from this update for its new rendering engine that allows the update of a video to HDR or get a preview of the looks in a 3D cube with the Color Remap tool of Magic Bullet Looks.

New NVIDIA Studio driver now available for download on the web GeForce Experience or download it from here.
