New Quadro graphics card from Nvidia

PNY has announced a new Quadro graphics card from Nvidia that brings the Volta graphics core to the professional market, along with a massive 32 GB of HBM2 graphics memory.

Nvidia Quadro GV100

The Nvidia Quadro GV100 uses Nvidia’s Volta GPU architecture, which provides significantly increased memory capacity, scalability and performance. Volta’s 32 GB HBM2 memory subsystem delivers super-fast graphics memory, twice the memory capacity, and 20% higher memory bandwidth compared to the previous generation. AI technology uses new mixed-precision tensor cores to maximize performance for advanced deep learning computations. 16-bit mixed-precision computing also reduces storage requirements and improves performance for training and deploying larger neural networks. A single board has the ability to support up to four 5K monitors at 60Hz, or dual 8K displays at 60Hz.

The full specification is:

CUDA Cores 5,120
Nvidia Tensor Cores 640
Memory 32GB HBM2
FP64 Performance 7.8 TFLOPS
FP32 Performance 14.8 TFLOPS
FP16 Performance 29.6 TFLOPS
Tensor Performance 118.5 TFLOPS
Maximum Power Consumption 250W
Graphics Bus PCI Express 3.0 x16
Display Connectors 4x DisplayPort 1.4
Dual slot form factor
