Bluefish444, a developer of high-quality SDI video cards for 4K, 2K, HD and SD, has announced the release of a new driver (V5.11.1) that enables s3D HD-SDI display on Scratch and Scratch Lab systems on Windows platforms.
This plugin has been developed in collaboration with Assimilate, and works through the Epoch series video cards, also from Bluefish444. Supported media for previewing with these cards are as follows:
– 4:2:2 YUV, 8 or 10 bit, HD-SDI.
– 4:4:4 RGB, 8 or 10 bit, Dual Link HD-SDI.
– 4:2:2 YUV, at 8 or 10 bit, full raster s3D HD-SDI.
– 4:2:2 YUV, at 8 or 10 bit, full raster s3D 3G HD-SDI (up to 1080p60).
– Color space conversion between 8/10 bit, YUV and RGB.
Thanks to Bluefish’s extensive tour with Assimilate, now those who already have these 12-bit processing cards (Epoch) will be able to view all their workflows, including stereoscopic ones, at no cost, as the driver download for them will be free of charge. In addition, they say this is the first of several similar features they are developing.
Windows V5.11.1 driver can be downloaded from here, and is compatible with Windows XP (32 bit), Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit) and Windows 7 (64 bit).
