Sony has just announced its new professional projector, the VPL-GTZ380. The VPL-GTZ380 model becomes part of the great Sony SXRD family, which has become a benchmark in the industry.
The new VPL-GTZ380 projector is capable of 10,000 lumens of brightness and maintains viewing quality under any lighting conditions as well as distance. Now with greater light stability thanks to the new liquid crystal panel. This also helps it become a more versatile product with greater installation and usage options. The new 0.74-inch 4K SXRD 4K panel, in addition to offering the 10,000 lumens of brightness, has a great contrast ratio of 16,000:1 that makes for deeper blacks .
It also has a wide color space 100% DCI-P3 by having not only the two blue laser diodes of different wavelengths, but also by having a new red laser diode in the light of the VPL-GTZ380. This coupled with the high performance image processor makes for high quality projection and we can enjoy HDR 10 and HLG images.
With the new model, there is also a new design, which improves the cooling system and thus noise reduction. A new phosphor wheel has been installed to release heat and a small panel.
