New Tokina Cinema Vista 65mm T1.5

Tokina expands its Prime Cinema Vista lens range with the new Tokina 65mm T1.5. With this latest addition, there are now 9 lenses that make up this high-end Tokina range, covering practically all focal lengths. This lens is designed for large format cameras beyond full frame. With this intermediate distance, Tokina now has the basic distances of 35mm, 50mm and 85mm, plus the 40mm that it recently incorporated, and to this list are added the 18mm, 25mm, 65mm, 105mm and 135mm.

Tokina has chosen to maintain the same front diameter of 114mm as the rest of the lenses in the range. The same applies to the image circle, which is 46.7mm. In more external aspects, it also maintains the same aesthetics and look as the other eight remaining lenses. This one specifically has an optical structure of 14 elements arranged in 13 groups. It has a variable aperture of T1.5 and T22 with a diaphragm composed of 9 blades making the aperture circle round. Also, like the rest of the Prime Cinema Vista lenses, Tokina maintains well-controlled chromatic aberration and lens distortion. When focusing, the lens breathing is minimal for a fluid and smooth operation.

The Tokina 65mm T1.5 comes with available mounts for ARRI PL, interchangeable ARRI LPL, EF, MFT and Sony E.

At the moment it’s not announced in Tokina Spain, but it can be reserved on pages like B&H and will have a price of 7,499 dollars.
