New version of Assmilate Scratch 6.1

The American company Assimilatte has just released the new version of its color correction and compositing software Scratch 6.1. Among the new features are support for Red HDRx (Red high dynamic range images), the possible use on Mac of the Aja Kona 3G card for inputs and outputs or improved management of the Red Code (including Epic’s 5K) for the optimization of different equipment.

Scratch 6.1 is also compatible with Tangent’ s future Element series (which looks very good).

Thanks to the combination of color correction tools with compositing and finishing tools, and its support for Mac and PC, Scratch is gradually gaining popularity in many post-production companies.
