As announced at NAB, Technicolor has released version 1.5 of Color Assist, its color correction software.
Among the main improvements we find compatibility with Adobe After Effects and support for AVCHD and still images, responding little by little to the growing needs of users.

Adobe After Effects
Now After Effects, undoubtedly one of the most important compositing, visual effects and motion graphics systems in the industry, joins its companion Premiere Pro, which already had Color Assist support.
Post-production technicians will have this option available from version CS5.5 of both systems, thus expanding their workflow possibilities.
In addition to Adobe systems, Color Assist also supports Final Cut Pro (7 and X), and Technicolor says they are working to support most editing platforms in use today.
AVCHD
AVCHD format support is included, allowing you to work with MTS or M2TS files.
Still image support
Supported formats are DPX, JPEG, TIFF or PNG, and must not exceed 5000 pixels on any side.
Workflow improvements
Color Assist 1.5 also includes workflow improvements that make it easier for new users to learn how to use it. Examples are the “Pixelmeter” feature, workspace customization or improved navigation between bins and the browser.
Here is a tutorial with the workflow to follow from After Effects:
