New version of LightSpace CMS

Light Illusion has revamped its LightSpace CMS advanced color management system.

This update includes two important new features. The first one is the integration with Eizo displays, which allows to calibrate any of them (supporting 3D LUTs) directly through the software, using the integrated settings generation and displaying the LUT inside the display. All this is controlled from the “Upload” menu, located under “File/Upload”.

LightSpace has a free version called DPS (Display Profiling System), which checks the accuracy of monitors for the user to determine if re-calibration is necessary. With the new version, the ability to “Convert Colour Space” has been added, making it possible to view the changes needed to accurately calibrate the display via “LUT 3D Cube” and “1D Graph”. It is now possible to use the generated profiles to “make” a LUT through this tool, although such a LUT still cannot be used as that would require the paid version.
