New webinar on color correction in Baselight 5.3

We continue with the online webinars so that the time we are at home can be used to learn and share more knowledge. This time we encourage you not to miss the webinar organized by FilmLight about the color management in Baselight 5.3.. The event will take place on April 7 and will be attended by two great professionals and industry experts such as FilmLight image engineer Daniele Siragusano and colorist Andy Minuth.

The purpose of the event is to introduce users to the new tools and improvements to existing ones in the upcoming Baselight 5.3, which will be released very soon.

This color management seminar will feature T-CAM, FilmLight’ s well-known color management system that offers great flexibility in managing the display of images depending on whether they are SDR or HDR. With an improved version, T-CAM v2 brings the similarity of colors and appearance between the two displays even closer. To this end , noise has been reduced in the shadow areas of underexposed areas, gaining more detail and color.

New native support for Truelight Color Spaces and T-CAM for Autodesk Flame and OpenColorIO will also be unveiled.

Baselight 5.3 also features an extensive list of new looks designed to work in conjunction with T-CAM v2 and assist in the creative process of color correction, providing looks such as Bleach Bypass, ENR or Autochrome.

The webinar will not miss the reference to the ACES color management system, talk about working with LUTs and working in HDR.

The event will take place on April 7 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. peninsular time and is completely free. As it will focus on different aspects of color management, image processing and creative processes, it is intended for all those who are dedicated to both the direction of photography, such as colorists, DITs or simply want to learn about new tools, workflows and possibilities of image processing.

If at the end of the presentation you have any questions, there will be a question and answer session with the experience and professionalism of Daniele Siragusano and Andy Minuth.
