On July 24, Nikon announced, in the form of a small trailer, its new camera, the Nikon D850, which will serve as the successor to the Nikon D810.
The company has provided few details about this new DSLR camera beyond its ability to produce 8K Time-Lapses. However, there are already rumors about some of its features.
It is said that, like its predecessor, it will have a full frame sensor. However, the 36 megapixels of the D810 will contrast with the 45 megapixels of this new DSLR. It is also believed that it will have the same autofocus system as the Nikon D5.
Nikon has referred to this model as a camera intended for both professional and amateur photographers, and ideal for capturing landscapes, weddings, sporting events, fashion events, etc.
In the company’s own words “The D820 will exceed the expectations of a large number of photographers looking for high resolution and high speed that only Nikons of this caliber, in combination with NIKKOR lenses, can offer.”
We can only wait for the Japanese company to release more details about this new DSLR.
