During its visit to NAB, Digital Vision announced important changes to its product range and pricing structure that will primarily affect Nucoda users.
The company has stated that, in response to the increasing commoditization of color correction and finishing and in seeking to adapt to today’s audiovisual market, they have taken time to design this new strategy while continuing to provide color correction and image processing tools.
Nucoda Film Master, its premium color correction solution, is now “only” Nucoda and Nucoda Fuse has been discontinued.
Users with a current support contract need not worry, as Fuse users will be upgraded to the new Nucoda and those with Film Master will also have every DVO option for that license.
In addition, Digital Vision has provided support for Tangent Element controllers and its DVO Classic tools will be available as part of the Nucoda software, which will have a starting price of €999 ($2695).
