PluralEyes Connector for Premiere Pro CS6

Singular Software, developer of tools to automate audiovisual production processes, has announced PluralEyes Connector for Premiere Pro CS6. It is an extension for the latest version of Adobe’ s editor that allows the use of PluralEyes software within it.

PluralEyes is a system for automatic synchronization, without the need for time codes or clappers. However, its use is mainly limited to the synchronization of the different angles of a multi-camera, since it uses audio analysis to carry out this process. For this reason, the material that we want to synchronize must have a camera audio or have made by hand the synchronization (video and audio) of each shot or angle.

One of the biggest advantages is that thanks to Connector, PluralEyes works as a Premiere extension, so there is no need to import or export the project at any time to switch from one program to another. In addition, all the necessary clip information is already added, there is no need to enter it manually in PluralEyes.

Its operation is very simple, just select the sequence with all the clips you want to synchronize within PuralEyes and press “sync”; the rest is just a matter of sitting and waiting.

In addition to Premiere Pro, PluralEyes can also work with Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Vegas Pro and Edius. Here is the link to download the free (30-day) trial for any of these systems.

In order to use Connector, PluralEyes must be installed, in addition to the following requirements:

– Mac OS X (10.6.8 or 10.7); or Microsoft Windows 7 (with Service Pack 1).
– Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.
– PluralEyes for Premiere Pro.
