Pomfort announces PocketControl

The German company, Pomfort, has announced the development of a new application, named PocketControl, that makes it possible to remotely control ARRI cameras through the application. It is the first operating system of its kind to make this possible.

The mechanism of this application connects via Wifi signal, which allows, among many other features, to indicate to the camera when to start and stop recording.

Through the application’s menu, different camera parameters such as exposure level, color settings, focus, HD-SDI output configuration, etc. can be modified. The intention of this application is to make decision making on set easier and more flexible.

Compatible with any iPhone or iPad device with iOS 10 or newer operating system, for controlling ARRI ALEXA Mini and ARRI AMIRA cameras.
