Pomfort Silverstack 5.2

You can now download version 5.2 of Silverstack, Pomfort’s media management software. It is a small update but with several new features that will be very useful for workflows from set to post production.

The most outstanding new feature is that it allows you to “seal” hard disks, a capability that can be combined with the Seal Verify software, which we told you about a few days ago. This ensures data integrity but does not restrict access to files.

Along with this new feature comes the ability to import sealed library files and manage them to obtain information, erase or reseal discs.

The transfer of clip and color information to Assimilate Scratch (via an ALE file) has also been improved.

Finally, ingestion can now be performed on the library quickly, without having to copy the files.

This is a free upgrade for Silverstack and Silverstack XT users.
