Smith Micro has launched version 11 of its Poser and Poser Pro systems, designed for the creation of 3D illustrations and animations.
This update focuses on simplifying its use and making it easier to create hyper-realistic 3D figures. The new features are as follows:
- New GPU-accelerated SuperFly render engine with support for NVIDIA CUDA.
- Real-time preview of the comic style, with ink lines drawn on the figures.
- Creation of precise measurements in a scene.
- Using the Actor Selection History, we can keep track of recently accessed objects by using the back and forward buttons.
- Custom tools allow you to add frequently used objects and parameter dials in custom palettes.
- With Content Creation Export it is possible to save partial scenes that have been extracted from more complex scenes.
- Using the High Density Display function, the entire interface can be scaled according to customized user settings.
In addition to the new tools, Poser Pro comes with a library of pre-loaded characters and content including human figures, animals and props.
Poser Pro 11 can now be purchased or upgraded through its website.
