Productions: The new project manager in Adobe Premiere Pro

Adobe launches its latest Productions tool now available in Premiere Pro. Productions is the new project management tool for those editing with Premiere Pro. It is not only a project manager, but also allows you to share resources between different collaborative or independent projects and allows greater organization when working. Many large productions have already used Productions for their projects.

The good news is that it is now open to Adobe Premiere. Until now we knew it from the presentation they made during the Sundance festival, but now we can already use it for upcoming projects. Experts, filmmakers and developers have worked to make the actual user experience as efficient, versatile and useful as possible when working on large productions.

The organization in large projects is very important so that it does not become a ball, so with Productions we can organize a film by reels or scenes, or in the case of series, it could be organized by season. Many times the same resources are shared between seasons or reels and working this way it is faster to share content between projects without duplicating them. The same happens with the rendered clips, the moment they are rendered in one machine, they appear in the same way in the rest of the computers.

With collaborative projects in mind, Productions allows you to manage access to project editing, even if you do have access to the content of the project. To ensure that content is private and not available on the network, Productions allows you to work locally with content so that you do not have to upload it to the network.

If you have an editing project in hand, you can try out the Productions tool with the new Adobe Premiere Pro update .
