Yesterday Red Giant released the public Beta of PluralEyes 3.5, its popular system for synchronizing audio and video from multi-camera footage.
This version comes with more formats, including AVCHD playback (new for Windows users) or the extension of supported media types for the “Replace Audio” function.
Both Windows and Mac users will now be able to work with spanned clips and, thanks to improved algorithms, achieve faster and more accurate synchronization.
In addition, a function has been added that automatically corrects the loss of synchrony. This usually happens when we have very long videos and, as they progress, we see that the sound does not match perfectly.
The Mac and Windows versions of this free beta can be downloaded from this page. Once downloaded, simply run the installer and the software will work in the same way as other Red Giant trials, without the need for a serial number.
If you are already PluralEyes users, don’t worry, because you can have your previous version and beta 3.5 installed at the same time.
For Premiere Pro users, we recommend downloading the PluralEyes 3.5 Connector Extension, which makes it easier to send the timeline from Premiere for synchronization. You will find the download link here.
Red Giant insists on the importance of receiving feedback from its users. Therefore, they encourage you to let them know if you have any problem using the menu shown in the image below.
Have a nice weekend!
