Red Giant and Creative Cloud plug-ins

Following Adobe’ s recent announcement that it is moving all of its Creative Suite applications to Creative Cloud, many are wondering if the plugins they used with those systems will continue to work.

One of the companies that has answered this question is Red Giant, and the answer is yes. In fact, people who are already using Creative Cloud with the CS6 version can work with products such as Magic Bullet Looks without any impediment.

As far as new Adobe versions are concerned, updates to Red Giant software (that you have previously purchased) will be free as part of the Red Pledge, making them compatible with systems such as After Effects, Premiere Pro or Photoshop.

The company has been conducting tests in which it appears that there are no problems and everything is working correctly, except for minor bugs that are already being fixed. The new installers are ready, although they are in a final quality control phase with people carefully testing each product to ensure that there are no surprises afterwards.
