Red Giant has several important product collections for performing different post-production tasks, such as Magic Bullet Suite, Trapcode Suite or Shooter Suite. It is the latter that has just received an update, reaching version 13.
Shooter Suite focuses on the processes that happen right after shooting, such asoffloading (Offload), synchronization(PluralEyes), resolution conversion(Instant 4K) or working with interlaced images(Frames).
PluralEyes 4.0
PluralEyes is a tool for audio and video synchronization without the need for timecode or clappers.
In its version 4, general automation has been improved and messages and color codes have been included to let the user know at all times if there is a problem. Apart from general performance, here are some new features:
- Direct synchronization within Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Integration with Red Giant Offload.
- Smart Start” function, which detects the device from which the media comes when dragging and dropping a folder in PluralEyes.
- Automatic Drift Correction” function, which fixes sync loss in very long clips.
- “Vertical Track Scaling” to view audio waveforms in greater detail.
- Keyboard shortcuts for playback and navigation based on Premiere Pro.
This update is completely free for users who have purchased PluralEyes 3.5 or Shooter Suite 12.5 in the last 30 days.
Although Denoiser II and LUT Buddy are no longer part of the collection (they are now part of Magic Bullet Suite), the company has warned its users that they will still be able to use them even if they upgrade (read here how to do it).
