Red Giant is in the midst of developing Universe for DaVinci Resolve and Sony Vegas systems.
Universe is the company’s latest solution, a platform launched last March and aimed primarily at editors and VFX creators. Thanks to its integration with different post-production systems, it allows to carry effects, transitions and plug-ins completely free of charge.
One of its greatest advantages is that it will continue to grow; since it is based on a community of users who will contribute more and more, it will evolve around the needs of artists around the world.

The news of this introduction to DaVinci and Sony Vegas has been revealed by Sean Safreed (co-founder of Red Giant) in this interview with Noam Kroll. At the moment they can’t give us a concrete release date, but they assure that they are working on it and investigating to be able to do it also with Avid Media Composer.
