Red Giant updates its Shooter Suite collection

Red Giant has released version 12.1 of Shooter Suite, with new features and fixes in BulletProof and PluralEyes.

This is the first update of the collection after the company’s surprising announcement last August. Among the many new features, they presented the new Shooter Suite and Color Suite, two collections that grouped their products according to the type of user and their needs.

BulletProof 1.0.1

In this dailies preparation software most of the added features have been directed to the exchange of metadata with other systems. The general XML support and export of this file has been improved for Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, making the metadata submission easier and fixing the problems that were generated in the timecode (the latter in FCP).

New keyboard shortcuts have been added for bookmarks and the timeline, facilitating a faster workflow for users.

Finally, some bugs have been corrected when setting different frame rates and the instability of the search tool (Search).

PluralEyes 3.2.3

In PluralEyes the changes have focused more on new media for cameras and sound. It is now possible to import media from Canon XF cameras and export a synchronized timeline to Avid Media Composer 7. For audio, the “Export as Media Files” option now supports MP3, M4A, MOV and WAV.

There is now full support for input and output points imported from editing systems.

As always, some performance bugs have been fixed, improving performance for clip dragging and multi-clip selection, as well as the handling of audio files with surround sound and nested sequences when exporting to Premiere Pro.
