Red Giant has released version 4.1.2 of its audio and video synchronization software PluralEyes.

This release adds support for the recently introduced Adobe CC 2017, in this case for the Premiere Pro editor, as well as a number of enhancements and added features. In addition to Premiere, Vegas users will also be happy to know that MAGIX Vegas Pro 14 is now supported as well.

Among the new features are two options added to the track context menu to provide improved manual control of the synchronization behavior: “Allow Sync to Change Clip Order” and “Allow Sync to Split Tracks“. By default, these options are automatically configured based on PluralEyes file analysis.

These are the rest of the news:

  • Improved support for multi-channel media (previously the first channel was muted).
  • Enhanced support for naming in the recording, which can include a suffix specifying the source and be detected in synchronization to place different tracks.
  • Improved support for recorders that place each audio clip in a separate folder (Roland R26, ZOOM H5, ZOOM H6).
  • Fixed a bug where PE4 would show a gray screen at startup.

PluralEyes is included in the Shooter Suite collection or can be used as a standalone application. In either case, this is a free upgrade for current users and can be downloaded through this link.
