As you already know, our specialized social network project for audiovisual professionals, Red709.comhas completed a week since it was launched last Wednesday. As of today, we have received about a thousand requests for invitations to the platform. To be honest, this figure far exceeds our best expectations. We are trying to respond as quickly as possible to all of them.

For this reason, we want to make clear the process we are following when sending these invitations. First of all, we review each and every request that comes in. It may sound crazy, but we believe it is necessary to check the data you provide us in order to make sure that you really start interacting with industry professionals. We are very afraid that the conversation that is generated has little to do with the purpose of Red709.com.

So we urge you, if you have not yet requested your invitation, to fill out the small form on the home page of the network by providing all the information requested. If we do not see a full name and profession on the application, we will not send anything. Please note that it would be easy for you to falsify the information, but, between us, we are fully confident that anyone who wants to belong to the network has a real interest in it.

Although we consider the platform to be fully functional, we know that we still need to work on certain improvements. We have been asked, for example, the possibility of having an app (for both iOS and Android). We promise you that everything will come. However, at this specific moment, we prefer to focus on the development of the Web version. But we have it in mind. It is on our list.

Finally, when you receive the invitation, you can register as a freelancer/professional or as a company. If you have any doubts about this, consider the following: with a personal profile, you will be able to interact without limitations within the network, but you will be users. That is to say, your profile does not give you the right to use it as an advertising tool for, for example, products. If you want to have, however, a company profile, you can do so. You will not be able to publish as such, but a file will be generated with your data that will appear in the company directory. We think that, if a company decides to have a more active profile, it should contract this service.
