REDCINE-X Pro is RED’s own color corrector. These two tutorials explain the main tools of the Look Panel and how to work with them.
The first one is a written tutorial, which gives an introduction to color correction with REDCINE-X. It may be more interesting for those who are new to the software, or even to color correction, as it includes explanations of theoretical concepts such as saturation, gamma, color space and contrast. For those who are a bit more advanced, the warnings about tools that cause problems in the image (in the whites, for example) if used excessively may be useful.
You can read it here.
The second tutorial is in video, and explains the same tools as in the previous one but in a visual way. On the other hand, special emphasis is given to the creation of presets, correction memories and how to apply them in different ways.
I also leave you the link to the free download of REDCINE-X PRO (Beta version).
