ARTIXELS, a developer of VFX software, has just released its new plugin for The Foundry’s Nuke visual effects and compositing system.
“Resonance for Nukeis a high-performance image generator designed for the creation of abstract looks and effects. Its entire structure is based on a multi-threaded and vectorized rendering engine, as well as multiple wave emitters that can be directed by the user in an intuitive way.
These waves can be generated following spiral or “radial-planar” patterns and have animatable controls for amplitude, frequency, fall-off frequency, phase or local time base.
The HUD controls allow the adjustment of essential parameters of each transmitter, which can also be operated without leaving the display window to return to the control panel.
Resonance for Nuke also features a number of presets to help the user get a starting point or go faster, and an edge-preserving filter has been included for a smoother effect on the edges of waves.
This plugin is available for Nuke versions 7.0 and 8.0, on Windows 7 and Mac OS X platforms, for a price of $129. Here you will find all the information you need to purchase it.
