Rokinon : Introduction of new 14mm lens

Rokinon has introduced a new 14mm f2.8 lens. This is an ultra-wide-angle autofocus lens prepared for Canon’s EF mount. Recall that, only three months ago, they introduced their 35mm f1 AF lens for Sony’s E-mount.

The Rokinon company is the first to introduce an autofocus lens designed for Canon mount. It is also the first weather-ready model, according to the company. The lens offers an aperture of f2.8 and a 7-blade rounded aperture. On the other hand, it is equipped with an angle of view of 116’6º and its optical construction is formed from 15 crystals structured in 10 different groups with UMC anti-reflective coatings. The company itself emphasizes its small size (95.6mm in length) and low weight (485g).
