GenArts has announced the release of version 8 public beta of Sapphire, its collection of effects compatible with systems such as DaVinci Resolve, Avid or After Effects.
This public beta allows everyone to test the eighth version of the software before its official release in mid-December.
New functions
The biggest new feature in this version is the “Builder” function, which provides the ability to create new effects and transitions within a nodal workspace. In addition, users will also be able to navigate through presets more efficiently.
Currently this feature is only available for After Effects, Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer.
New effects
Sapphire 8 includes some new and updated effects on all supported platforms, among which we find:
- Grunge
- LightLeak
