From Assimilate comes this tutorial on the Scratch workflow when working with footage captured by a Phantom, Vision Research’s high-speed cameras.
At the beginning of the video, briefly, we are told about the new features that have been added to the latest version of Scratch. During the rest, there is a series of detailed explanations to prepare a project and be able to start working with this type of images. The topics covered are: the import process with specifications on the name of the files that appear separated in folders; metadata management to be able to change certain properties; ways of working using a graphics card to obtain better performance; changes in the color space; generating the TC (timecode); or making a conform from an AAF, EDL or XML.
