Shutterstock needs no introduction, as this comprehensive image bank is already well known to everyone. On the other hand, it is becoming a major partner of the new FCP X third-party extensions with the launch of a new premium content tier, Shutterstock Select.

Shutterstock is already known for its vastly expanded image library; it currently stands at over 12 million items and Shutterstock select adds around 10,000 to that number.

Available in 4K, naturally, and in high definition, the collection includes most of today’s most in-demand categories across the industry, such as cinematic aerials, millennial adventures, gastronomy, action scenes and workplace footage; a list that suggests Shutterstock is aiming for the new premium level in a fairly broad market.
