Sony at BIT Broadcast 2014

 

 

 

 

 

Today begins the BIT Broadcast, the International Professional Exhibition of audiovisual technology, which will be held until May 22 at IFEMA in Madrid.

As could not be missing among the participants, Sony will be at booth 6D10 presenting its range of HD cameras and its latest storage system. These are the key points announced:

  • 4K: combining products, systems and services to offer the best to professionals who create content in this resolution.
  • The importance of XDCAM: TVE has once again relied on Sony equipment, consolidating the leadership of its XDCAM codec. This TV channel is already joined by major European broadcasters such as ITV in England, RAI in Italy and Al Jazeera in Dubai.
  • Live production: Atresmedia has also chosen Sony to renovate its production studios with high-definition cameras.
  • Archive: with its new “Optical Disc Archive” data storage system.
