Sony brings us closer to Vittorio Storaro

Next Friday, May 23, the Sony CineAlta team has prepared a very special event to support “La Semaine de la Critique” in its 67th year at the Cannes Film Festival.

The company is pleased to announce that it will have French film journalist Alex Masson interview cinematographer Vittorio Storaro (ASC, AIC).

For those of you who still don’t know who he is, Vittorio Storaro is a three-time Academy Award winner and has worked on films such as Novecento, Apocalypse Now and The Last Emperor( see his complete IMDB profilehere ).

Best of all, we will have the opportunity to hear him talk about his distinguished creative journey or the relationship between technology and art. This conversation will be accompanied by clips of his work with Bernardo Bertolucci, Francis Ford Coppola, Warren Beatty and Carlos Saura.

In addition, we will be able to learn more about his new and long-awaited book “The Art of Cinematography”.
