High quality images in 4K/HD
Sony’s Exmor R™ type 1.0 CMOS image sensor with 14.2 megapixels enables high sensitivity and offers 4K image quality. In addition, thanks to the large high-resolution sensor, content creators can achieve superior image quality when recording in HD. The latest NXCAM camcorder also offers users the flexibility to record in 4K and trim HD content in post-production.
On the other hand, it delivers stunningly realistic images. This breakthrough enables the camcorder to capture more vivid, richer and deeper color variations and achieve natural-looking skin tones regardless of exposure.
The HXR-NX200 features a 29mm wide-angle G Lens, plus three independent manual lens rings, allowing manual control of focus, zoom and iris, for quick and precise adjustments. A 12x optical zoom is enhanced with Sony’s By Pixel Super Resolution technology, with 24x sharp image zoom in HD and 18x in 4K. With built-in 4-stop ND filters, the HXR-NX200 is able to quickly adjust to capture quality content in a multitude of environments, producing crisp, clear images without sacrificing detail. In turn, it allows content creators to effortlessly stream live HD events through a simple and affordable production ecosystem when paired with the MCX-500multi-camera live producer and RM-30BP remote control.
The HXR-NX200, which extends the recording format of Sony’s NXCAM range, is capable of recording in 4K XAVC S format at 100 Mbps to deliver image quality with less noise due to the higher bit rate. In addition, the camcorder also features two media slots to extend recording time and improve workflow flexibility through relay recording and simultaneous backup. The inclusion of Sony’s MI hot shoe allows a UWP-D professional audio receiver, such as the URX-P03D, to be connected seamlessly for optimal audio recording without cables and with efficient battery consumption.
