Sony to open a new center in the United Kingdom

Sony has announced the opening of its new Digital Motion Picture Centre later this summer, located at Pinewood Studios (Buckinghamshire, UK).

This center has been designed to offer the film community the opportunity to meet, share experiences, receive advice and training on Sony’s latest cameras and related workflows from a variety of industry partners.

Cinematographers, independent operators, as well as post-production and rental houses, will be able to learn more about the latest techniques and equipment available, gaining experience in various steps of the production chain through scheduled courses or informal discussions.

The installation will feature (thanks to the collective experience of Sony, its partners and the Sony Professional Solutions Specialist network) the CineAlta family of cameras, including the F65, F55 and F5 models. In addition, among the main features we will find the most advanced tools for 4K workflows and 4K/HD displays for viewing images in home and professional environments.
