Sony will attend IBC for another year

Sony has announced that it will once again be present at IBC to showcase its innovative range of products and services, as well as its support for the broadcast sector.

They will share experiences of their latest projects, such as the production of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 (where live production in 4K was tested) or the 4K recording of Wimbledon tournaments. Support for the future of broadcast will also be discussed, through initiatives such as the John Lennon bus and the Sony PROduction awards; or the degree of collaboration of Sony towards this sector in order to satisfy its customers in relation to the most demanding formats such as 4K.

In addition, Sony will have the presence of Luis Ochoa, director of 709 Media Room and newly certified as Sony ICE. Luis will be there offering workflow and color support for the CineAlta family. He will demonstrate how to ingest, post-produce and export the codecs of these cameras in the different editing and color correction software. He will also explain how to get the most out of these codecs in the color grading process.
