Switcher Go, free mobile streaming

We have just started a new year, and from 709 Media Room we want to wish all our readers a happy 2017! To start off on the right foot, today we come with something not too dense, a mobile application.

It is Switcher Go, a simplified version of the systems developed by Switcher, a company that manufactures software for multi-camera streaming for iPhones and iPads. The company has decided to bring the Three Wise Men forward by releasing Switcher Go for free, with which we can broadcast videos from iOS devices through Facebook Live or Youtube Live.

The main difference with Switcher Studio is that Switcher Go is limited to a single camera. However, you can import up to four photos or video clips and switch between them during live performance.

This application also features on-screen controls for focus, aperture, zoom and white balance. In addition, if using a second device with the app, such as an iPad, it is possible to control the camera remotely.
