“Facilis has remained true to our mission, version 7 being an excellent example of this. It has simplified its use, maintained its high levels of flexibility, as well as reliability; and positively changed the expectations of administrators.”, “We are delivering features that our customers saw as impossible. All without making it add more complexity for the user.” So spoke James McKenna, vice president of sales and marketing at Facilis, of Facilis’ new shared storage service.
Facilis Technology, the provider of storage services for collaborative media production, will present for the first time in Europe, during the IBCin Amsterdam in September; the features of its new TerraBlock v7.0 for shared storage.
This version 7.0 includes the new Facilis Hub Server, a performance aggregator, compatible with all TerraBlock systems. This server aims not only to protect users’ existing storage, but also to offer them a system that does so with an eye to the future. It also increases the bandwidth available to TerraBlock storage systems.
And on the other hand, it introduces a new web console, which allows a better workflow, thanks to its modern interface, compatible with mobile devices.
With this structure, Facilis aims to target customers who are looking to increase their content creation infrastructure but have a limited budget.
