A few days ago The Foundry released version 10.2 of its MODO 3D content creation and modeling system.
One of the keys to this update is the improved usability of the MeshFusion Boolean toolset, which offers faster editing and cleaner geometry generation.
The creation of four meshes at any density is now done automatically. These meshes follow the curvature of any input surface and can be controlled by weight maps and sketched curves.
Modeling processing has also been improved, with the ability to package, share and reuse various mesh operations in a single element, which the user can then save as a preset.
Mesh operations and deformations can be cached to work on complex animations with a faster timeline.
This update is the latest release of what would become Mode 10 Series and is completely free for MODE 10 users.
