The new fluid video head from Manfrotto

Manfrotto, the renowned brand of video tripods has launched its new 504X fluid video 504X fluid video head.. This new version is the one that will replace the famous 504HD but with some changes.

As a main feature compared to the previous model 504HD, the new 504X head is able to support more load, 12 kilograms, and in turn manages to reduce its own weight, having a lighter and lighter design. It should also be noted that the new model has a four-step counterweight.

Despite allowing more weight, which could lead to unbalance in the head, manfrotto ensures that with the new fluid system, higher loads are allowed without any loss of precision. When panning and tilting within the permitted weight limit, movements remain as smooth and fluid as with a lower load. The locking system on both axes allows to keep the camera position in the exact place without vibrations or slipping and have independent sliding locking systems.

The 504X head has a flat base, although if preferred, it can be combined with a ball adapter. As for the rosettes, it features an industry-standard Manfrotto Easy Link and ARRI design, located on both sides. This way you can attach the handleor other accessories to it.

New in this new model, Manfrotto has added a sliding plate to quickly release the camera without having to drag it to the end of the hot shoe. It locks and extracts laterally.

It has a rugged aluminum design and is capable of withstanding temperatures between -30º and 60º.

The new Manfrotto 504X costs 445,70€ and is available with various accessory kits.
