JVC has just announced that in November will go on sale its new D-ILA Reference series projectors, intended for small rooms color correction and advanced Home Cinema.
These three projectors work with both 2D and 3D material and support speeds of up to 18Gbps thanks to their dual HDMI input. This allows us to input 4K 60p 4:4:4:4, 4K 60p 4:2:2 36 bit and 4K 24p 4:4:4:4 36 bit signals.
All models come with eshift 4 diagonal scaling technology (fourth generation), to reproduce UHD images (3840×2160) while being optimized for 4K 60p. To minimize blurred objects when there are very fast movements we have the Clear Motion Drive and Motion Enhance systems, which improve image processing.
Finally, they have an automatic calibration function that analyzes the environment and makes the appropriate adjustments using an optional external sensor.
Home Cinema installations include THX 3D certifications (on 500 and 600 models still in process) and compatibility with the latest HDMI and HDCP2.2 standards.
Prices range from $4,000 to $10,000.
