Here is a video tutorial where you can learn how to prepare a project in Avid Media Composer to take it to Scratch v7, make the conforming and relink the exported media in the editing system after having made the color correction.
In this case we use RED material through AMA, although you can apply the steps provided in the tutorial to work with any other format. After exporting an AAF in Avid, we are shown how to do the conforming process in order to start color grading.
Finally, you will see how to configure the necessary settings so that everything works correctly when you go back to Media Composer and thus have a timeline with the shots including the color corrections.
Assimilate Scratch will be one of the systems that will be taught in the Master of color correction that we have prepared in April, along with many other tools and theoretical content. In this link you have all the information available.
