Three months have passed since MAGIX acquired a large part of the products initially developed by Sony Creative Software. Now, the time has come to present a revamped version of the popular editing system Vegas Pro 14 (formerly Sony Vegas).
Among the most outstanding novelties we find:
- HEVC/H.265 codec support
- Native ProRes support
- HFR (High Frame Rate) support
- Improved support for RED and Panasonic cameras, as well as AJA and Blackmagic Design hardware.
- Smart Upscale: allows scaling from HD material to 4K or UHD resolutions.
- Smart Zoom: for reframing in post-production, using keyframes if necessary.
- Hover Scrub tool: to quickly navigate and edit from the Trimmer window.
- Vignette effect
- Increased the speed limit for performing effects of this type; it can now be increased up to 1,000%, compared to 300% previously.
Vegas Pro 14 is now available in three versions:
Vegas Pro 14 Edit for $399
Vegas Pro 14 for $599
Vegas Pro 14 Suite (which includes NewBlueFX Titler Pro 3 and several Boris FX plug-ins) for $799.
