Sony offers system software update for its latest camera Sony VENICE which we have already talked about on previous occasions and many of you also joined us to learn about it at Luis Ochoa‘s presentations.
VENICE V2.0 firmware now available
Sony’s website informs us of its various news:
1.Aggregate camera modes, 6K 17: 9, 6K 1.85: 1 and 4K 6: 5
2.Added ISO2500 high sensitivity (Dual Base ISO)
3. E-mount lens holder
4.Variable Frame rate (Selecting FPS)
Apple ProRes HD is supported
6.Added simultaneous recording format
7.User 3D LUT compatible
8.EI applied at S-Log3 output and recording
9. Overview in 4K 17: 9, 3.8K 16: 9 and 4K 4: 3 modes.
10.High quality viewfinder focus magnification.
11. Automatic white balance
12. High / Low key
13.VF False color
14. Remote camera control via Ethernet
15. Operation of the inner button for playback
16. Limitations removed from the 6K 3: 2 image mode playback function.
