Video innovation at Adobe IBC 2018

Another of the attendees at this year’s IBC will be the Adobe company. Adobe already warns that brings with it many new features among which highlights mostly video. The company says they will “accelerate production times, enable smoother workflows and deliver powerful capabilities to bring the creative vision of filmmakers and video professionals to life.”

These updates follow the recent release of Adobe Project Rush, the first all-in-one, multi-device video editing application designed specifically for online content creators. Currently in beta, Project Rush will be available later this year.

New features coming later this year to Adobe Creative Cloud include:

• Mold layers into dynamic new shapes with new Mesh Modeling tools that twist, bend, and scale under your creative control in After Effects. Leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning technology in Adobe Sensei, instantly create and animate unique, stylized puppets using a webcam or illustrations with the new Characterizer in Character Animator.
• Instantly enhance audio with the intelligent cleanup tools, DeNoise and DeReverb, in the Essential Sound panel of Adobe Audition. Dial down or remove background noise and reverb from a sound clip that has been intelligently adjusted using adaptive algorithms.
• Curve adjustments now bring simplicity and precision to selective color grading and color management with the new Lumetri color tools in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Drag and drop files from a spreadsheet into Motion Graphics templates to generate visual representations of information using data-driven infographics in Premiere Pro.
• Add new support features for immersive 180-degree videos in Premiere Pro and After Effects, including optimized ingest features, effects, and results in Google VR 180 for viewing on YouTube or other platforms.
• Easily find team members from your company’s address book to choose collaborators and save groups.
• Adobe Stock: Search and sort millions of 4K and HD video sequences, as well as professionally designed Motion Graphics templates, directly from the Essential Graphics panel in Premiere Pro and After Effects.
