Vision Research has announced a new camera, the Phantom Veo4K-PL. This device is part of Phantom’s VEO line of compact, easy-to-use cameras, and is the first high-speed camera with 4K resolution.
It is a cinematic camera that, according to the company, will be ideal for those who wish to explore the field of slow motion.
In terms of features, the new Phantom Veo4K-PL can work in Global Shutter (standard) and switch to Rolling Shutter. It also has a 9.4 megapixel 12-bit CMOS sensor.
On the other hand, at 4096 x 2304 resolution, it is capable of capturing up to 938fps, while at 4096 x 2160 it increases the speed up to 1000fps. And its recording formats include AVI, Apple ProRes, MXF, QuickTime, DPX, etc.
In terms of weight, the Phantom Veo4K-PL features a lightweight aluminum body of just 2.5kg, making it an ideal device for aerial drone shooting.
