Want to attend the #3Dday at SGO?

SGO would like to invite industry professionals to the eighteenth edition of its #3Dday, to be held next Tuesday, December 3.

This is an ideal day to share experiences and where special emphasis will be placed on the importance of creating quality stereoscopic content that preserves the industry and does not generate discomfort in the viewer.

This year we are pleased to announce that 709 Media Room is one of the event’s collaborators, along with Ángel Fernández, Cinesa, HP, Muxart, Ovide and Next Limit.

Starting at 15:45h, the doors of Cinesa Proyecciones (at Calle de Fuencarral, 136) will open and the #3Dday will begin. These are the special guests:

• Miguel Caamaño, Estereoscopisya Online and VFX Artist at ONSIGHT. He will make an introduction of the latest works done by this company, among which could be highlighted Pandas 3D, Galapagos 3D or Micro Monsters. He will also talk about the problems and solutions of s3D productions, show efficient workflows in postproduction and share tips.

• Javier Fernández, Director of Photography and Colorist at Kandor Graphics. He will focus on the color grading, finishing and stereoscopic adjustment processes of the film Justin and the Sword of Courage, where he participated as color manager. He will also show the advantages they have had after their integration with Mistika through the illustration with artistic materials, breakdown of shots and comparative videos with the original material.

• David Rivero will be in charge of the Mamba FX Workshop, SGO’s latest product. Practical examples will be used to show the interface, tools and possibilities.

From eight in the evening, the #3Dday moves to the Moby Dick room to continue with a festive atmosphere. In addition, they have prepared a stereoscopic filming of the live concert to be given by a legendary band of the 80s from 21h.
