This week Sony has organized a competition where the winner can win nothing less than an FS5 camera.
The FS5 is the company’s new model, announced during IBC. It is a very light camcorder (weighing only 0.8Kg) that features an Exmor Super-35 CMOS sensor and is capable of recording in 4K XAVC.
To increase its flexibility, it has several advantages, including a 3.5″ LCD panel that can be attached to various positions on the camera body or handgrip, as well as a variable neutral density filter, ranging from 1/4ND to 1/128ND.
Other recording options allow up to 240fps in 8-second bursts and Full HD HFR in 4:2:2 10-bit.
To enter the contest, submit a two-minute film with the theme “No More Limits” and fill out this form(click here) from Sony Professional by October 31.
The eligible pieces must be uploaded to Youtube and the videos that receive the most “likes” (between November 1 and 15) will be included in the regional lists. Once in this phase, an expert from each area will select their favorite, taking into account the creativity, originality and difficulty of the recorded shots.
The winners of the regional phase will each win a Sony A7S (or equivalent) and enter the finals for the FS5.
The names of all winners will be announced on the December 17 webinar.
